Good material but the cuts slightly off. I had to take a bit off to get a good fitment.
Tabs worked great. I expected to do some cutting and grinding to fit, and had to, every 44 is not the same so expect to do just that. I did add a plate to the back side just for added strength, but the tabs are strong enough without them. Very happy with the purchase, thanks for a quality product.

It would appear I have an oddball 44 housing. I’ve got 2 other housings that the tabs fit , but I’m using a ‘74-76 J10 housing and the tabs are an 1” short of reaching the bottom of the inner C. Other than that it’s a great product.
These were delivered as they appear. However, they did not fit the profile of my mid 70's hp dana 44. Not sure if they are for the later 44s or what.
Exactly what i needed.
