Description
Ballistic Optima Battery Box is perfect for safely mounting your 34/78 Optima battery or equivalent. Revision II is cut from 1/8" steel on our in-house laser and bent on our in-house press brake, this battery box will add some style to your battery without breaking the bank. The four tabs and six holes on the bottom allow for mounting in any position. This box not only clamps over the top to secure the battery but also includes side tabs which the battery slides over for maximum protection against side-to-side movement. Revision II has a revised  top mounting system which allows for easier access. We have also made it possible to keep the battery handle installed. Painting or powdercoating required. Battery not included.

34/78 box
  When I bought this it did not come painted and they did not have the tab to prevent reverse placement of the top. I found out the hard way that it crosses the terminals when I test fit the battery in the tray. What a show. I suppose I am not the only one seeing they made a design change. This tray holds the battery firmly and haven't had any issue in the past couple of years. Great price too.

Awesome Product!
  I ordered this and it was on my doorstep in four days! It is built like a tank. I'm amazed that this costs so little. You gotta be a little careful with your side post connections though! This is in a road race car, not a 4x4, but serves its purpose well! Thanks

Great product but beware
  this thing is awesome. came well packed and quickly. design and precision craftsmanship are great and the tabs on the side are super cool. only problem i found is that it will not work with some aftermarket fenders.

Sick Box.
  Perfectly fits the optima. Very sturdy.Easy to install over stock battery tray. I would highly recommend.

A true Quality product
  Right off the bat I noticed the two end tabs that slide INTO the battery, something not offered elsewhere.I also liked the overall look from the pics on the site and couldn't pass it up when I saw the price. When it arrived I was impressed at the qualiry of craftmanship, clean cuts, true bends. I would buy this again, AND HIGHLY RECOMEND this to anyone who likes getting the best bang for their buck.
